HEIGHTS, MN – 10/1/08 -- Everlast Climbing Industries,
Inc., a division of PlayCore, has been awarded U.S. Patent
No. 7419457, entitled “Climbing Wall Assembly,” by
the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
This
innovative climbing wall accessory, marketed as the Traversewall® Challenge
Course, incorporates obstacle courses and a variety of other
challenging activities on climbing walls using specially
designed hand holds and components. These activities add
increased interest and physical challenges for climbers and
augment the fitness-enhancing capabilities of climbing walls.

are naturally drawn to climbing, and the Traversewall® Challenge
Course builds on this by engaging them even more by differentiating
the climbing wall landscape and the activities it hosts,” said
